Shipping
Bikes will ship free to addresses in the lower 48 states. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or internationally.
E-bikes ship by freight or oversized parcel carrier because of their weight and their lithium battery. Most orders leave the warehouse within one to three business days and arrive within five to ten business days of dispatch. Freight carriers call ahead to schedule delivery — give the carrier a number you actually answer at checkout, since missed delivery appointments are the single most common cause of delay.
Inspect before you sign
Look the carton over before signing the delivery receipt. If you see crushed corners, punctures, or a shifted load, note the damage on the receipt before signing and photograph it. A signed clean receipt makes a freight claim much harder to win. Contact us the same day and we will handle the claim.
Returns
You may return an unridden bike in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery.
- Return freight is paid by the customer. On an e-bike this typically runs $150–$400 depending on distance and carrier.
- A 10% restocking fee applies to returned bikes.
- The bike must be in original, unridden condition with all packaging, hardware, charger and documentation.
- Bikes that have been ridden, modified, assembled by a third party, or damaged are not returnable, though they may still be covered under warranty.
- Assembly and service labor is not refundable once the work has been performed.
We would rather be honest about this than surprise you later: e-bikes are heavy, freight is expensive, and a "free returns" promise on a 70 lb item is usually paid for somewhere else. Ask us questions before you order and we will help you avoid needing a return at all.
To start a return, email us with your order number and we will issue instructions and a freight quote before anything ships back.
Warranty
Warranty coverage on every bike sold here is provided by the manufacturer of that bike, not by EbikeBuy. Coverage typically runs one to two years on the frame, motor, battery and controller, and terms vary by brand and by model. The specific warranty for your bike is stated on its product page and in the documentation that ships with it.
What we add: if you bought the bike from us, we will file and follow up on the warranty claim on your behalf at no charge. We will gather the photos, serial numbers and diagnostics the manufacturer asks for and chase the response so you don't have to sit in a support queue.
What we can't do is overrule a manufacturer's decision, extend their coverage period, or cover wear items. Tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, cables, grips and spokes wear out with use and are not warranty items on any brand.
Assembly, tuning & repair
Assembly and service is performed by Bikes Plus in Jensen Beach, Florida, and is offered on any e-bike from any brand, whether or not you bought it here. The service covers the full pre-delivery checklist published on our home page: uncrating and damage inspection, torquing every fastener to the manufacturer's specification, truing and tensioning wheels, centering and bedding in brakes, indexing the drivetrain, setting tire pressure to rider weight, a full charge cycle with battery log, display configuration, and fit adjustment at pickup.
Pick-up and delivery is available locally for $45 — we collect the bike from your address and return it once the build is signed off. You can also drop the bike off yourself, or have it shipped directly to the shop still in its carton — tell us the tracking number and we will take delivery and inspect it for you. Turnaround is typically three to five business days. We will contact you when the bike is finished and the checklist is signed off. Bikes not collected within 30 days of completion may incur a storage fee.
Service is a workmanship service, not a warranty. If something we adjusted comes out of adjustment within 30 days, bring it back and we will correct it at no charge. Component failure remains a manufacturer warranty matter.
Affiliate disclosure
Products marked Buy direct are sold only through the brand's own website, so we link you there rather than pretending we can ship them. Once a program approves us, those links will become affiliate links: if you buy after clicking one, we may earn a commission from the brand.
- It costs you nothing extra. The price is the same as going to the brand's site directly.
- It does not change what we tell you. We will say plainly when a bike is not a good fit, including bikes we earn a commission on.
- Products marked We ship are sold by us directly. Those are not affiliate links.
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).

Terms of sale
Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept when the bike ships. We do not hold inventory ourselves — bikes ship from the manufacturer's or distributor's warehouse. If an item turns out to be backordered or discontinued after you order, we will contact you the same business day with the option of a full refund or a substitute.
Prices, specifications and availability are set by the manufacturer and can change without notice. Specifications shown on this site come from the manufacturer; where we state a battery safety certification, it is the certification reported for that specific model. We verify what we can at build, and we will tell you when we haven't verified something ourselves.
Riding safely and legally
Florida law treats Class 1, 2 and 3 electric bicycles as bicycles. Class 3 bikes have riding restrictions in some municipalities and on some paths. Local ordinances vary, helmet requirements vary by age, and it is the rider's responsibility to know and follow the rules where they ride. An e-bike is a vehicle: wear a helmet, ride within your ability, and don't modify the controller to exceed its class limit.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability on any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
